CLiC
CLiC was established in 2011 was built on 13 years of experience and knowledge gained on programmes that promoted the benefits and successful use of ICT in education.
CLiC’s aim was to provide education via ICT to Dublin inner city schools and communities.
The project has since been incorporated into the work of the Dublin Institute of Technology’s Access and Civic Engagement Office. The objective is to continue supporting local schools and communities through a range of ICT and other training initiatives.
CLiC News is one of the projects within the DIT Access and Civic Engagement Office. Direct support is offered to local schools that wish to use the resource but any teacher from around the country is welcome to contact us should they be interested in using the website with their class.

CLICnews I have to say that I really like the design but I am still getting used to it. I have learned how to use a few this. I really missed CLICnews when it shut down for over a week. I am glad it's back! I am really trying hard to get 5 star comments. I am also really proud of myself for getting already 2 prizes since September.

Cic News is a great website for the latest gossip,vocablurly,reading and english.If you go onto Clic News and pick a story to read and then if the comments are open you could leave a comment then submit it and then you have 5 minutes to edit it.After a few hours look at it and see if you got a bronze,silver,gold star or 1,2,3,4or a 5 star comment.

I love clicnews. Its so good. I like the idea of people giving their thoughts and their ideas. If people are shy and dont like to give people there opinions they can do it here. And its good to give people rates. Because if they have like 1 or 2 they will know how to improve it. I think that clicnews is a very good idea. I was just looking at the commenters of the week and P.D has 72 and I have 57 see that shows how everyone loves clicnews. I think its an amazing site. I started using clicnews at the middle of last year. At everyday since I would go onto it. I always see new users sometimes they stay for a month but others stay for a long time wich means they like the site. This site has only been here for 3 years and its already a big hit! And only recently they launched the scoop and sin bin on clic. See clicnews keep introducing new things. Like the new avatars!! They just keep inproving it but it cant get any better!!!! Anyway i love clicnews and i want everyone to know that!

I think CliCnews is an amazing website for the latest news. I got a prize and I was so happy. I didn't even think it was going to be me. I got a lot of cool things. I do feel really happy when I get five star comments. I would recommend CliCnews to everyone. When I am bored I just go onto my laptop and type in on the Google search bar, CliCnews. You can nearly find everything here! I try to do long comments, put in my fullstops, put in my capital letters and write about the article not about anything else and I sometimes get five star comments. I really like the way you do competitions. They are really fun. You can always whats happening. You never miss anything.
